Default Verene's Collection of Arts

Lots of stuff. Mostly photomanipulations and other forms of digital art (fractals = WIN), but also my fair share of drawings. And some photography (love my shiny camera). Oh, and I knit, as well.

So why not have a show-off thread?

Also, at the moment I am not taking any sort of commissions. I tried it in the past and I just couldn't keep up with it. I may take one or two at random, but that's it. So don't ask

First, some random RP-related drawings. Namely, my Dark Jedi, Rianna. She is a fun, fun, entertaining character.

She's wearing a dress. Long story why, but the mental image just struck me as too funny (she's a lightsaber specialist who fights with a very agile and acrobatic style), so I had to sketch it. Our entire group was amused.

Trying out my lovely (too damn expensive) markers. Just a quick portrait sketch.

Samus Aran. I cannot ink steadily to save my life. And her face is weird...should have used a larger sheet instead of a 4x4 inch scrap of bristol.

Chibi I did of Tommy's Monk

Unlucky Slayer's Mesmer

My Ritualist, Iseul <3

Hello Kitty hat I knit for my boyfriend's baby sister <3

Scarf I knit for my boyfriend <3

There's...some stuff. Not much of my digital work in that, I have to upload that all to photobucket first :P

Thanks, guys!

Here's some more stuff...

The layout I designed for my portfolio site (yes, it has my full name on there, yes, I blurred out my last name ), along with my personal logo I created.

Portfolio I designed for my boyfriend, and his logo I designed. Same thing with blurring out the last name. The logo here is the sample image I sent him, showing him how it looks in color and black and white, hence why there's more than one on here. I'm too lazy to upload a different one

A photomanip of mine, "Becoming Human"

A fractal, "Synapsis"

You should blur out the url as well then, for your portfolio if you don't want people to see your last name silly. =P

Oh for...

*palm*

Wow, I am a genius.

I guess I don't care that much, really, I just don't want my name in huge letters. Not like it's going to be my name much longer anyway ^^

Very nice layouts, and I like the photomanipulation work a lot too.

Oh, something nice happening to you in the future to change your name? :3

love the fractal, becoming human reminds me of that well-known boat thief The Lady of Shallot (although yours didn't steal a boat).

When is the name-change?

Aeronwen - no date set yet, but this year ^^
Arcole - I've done a few before, but usually just wind up using them myself instead of sharing them, heh.

Quick sketch/painting I did today - decided I needed a new ID on deviantart.
